Arthur Hayes Predicts $750,000 Bitcoin by 2027 as Money Printing Accelerates

Arthur Hayes isn’t softening his stance on Bitcoin.

The BitMEX co-founder is standing by one of the boldest forecasts in crypto right now: $250,000 Bitcoin in 2026 — and potentially $750,000 in 2027.

In his view, this cycle isn’t really about chart patterns or technical indicators. It’s about liquidity.

Hayes believes the U.S. government — particularly under Donald Trump — would ultimately prioritize economic stability and voter sentiment over fiscal restraint. That, he argues, means more spending, more debt, and eventually more money creation.

And when liquidity floods the system, scarce assets like Bitcoin tend to benefit the most.

Key Takeaways

  • Hayes sees Bitcoin reaching $250,000 in 2026 and $750,000 in 2027.

  • His forecast centers on the liquidity cycle, driven by U.S. fiscal expansion.

  • Institutional demand remains firm, with $458.2 million flowing into U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs in a single session.

Why Hayes Thinks Liquidity Changes Everything

Hayes argues that governments facing political pressure rarely tighten aggressively for long. If growth slows or geopolitical tensions rise, policymakers often respond with stimulus — even if inflation hasn’t fully cooled.

More spending leads to more debt.
More debt often leads to monetary expansion.

And that environment, in his view, is ideal for assets with fixed supply.

He also connects his outlook to geopolitics. A prolonged global conflict, including potential U.S.–Iran tensions, could give central banks cover to ease policy again. Historically, wartime economies tend to expand liquidity rather than restrict it — especially when spending is debt-financed.

At current prices near $65,000, a move to $250,000 by 2026 would represent nearly a 4x gain. The jump to $500,000–$750,000 in 2027 is where the thesis becomes exponential, implying double-digit multiples from today’s levels.

Is This the Start of a Bitcoin Supercycle?

What stands out is that institutional flows aren’t reflecting retail fear.

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recently recorded $458.2 million in inflows in a single day, with BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) accounting for $263.2 million of that total.

It’s a familiar pattern: sharp corrections shake out retail traders, while institutions quietly accumulate.

On the chart, $63,000 remains the key support level. As long as that holds, the broader structure stays intact. The major breakout trigger sits at $72,000. A decisive move above that could shift momentum back toward previous highs.

If $60,000 breaks, however, the correction may extend before any liquidity-driven rally kicks in.

For now, $72,000 is the level that likely determines whether the next leg higher begins — or whether the market needs one more reset before Hayes’ liquidity thesis plays out.
